Formula: missed calls × intent share × conversion × booking value, weekly × 52 for the year. Estimates use your inputs only — nothing is sent anywhere; the math runs entirely in your browser.
What to do with your number
The estimate is deliberately conservative arithmetic, not magic: it counts only calls you already miss, discounts them by your own intent and conversion assumptions, and values them at your own average booking. The full reasoning behind each input lives in our guide to the real cost of missed calls for hotels.
If the annual figure is bigger than the cost of fixing it — and it almost always is — the fix order is: answer overflow first, then after hours, then the language gap. Or let an AI front desk close all three at once.
About this calculator
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. The calculation runs in your browser with JavaScript — no inputs are stored, sent, or logged.
What defaults should I use if I'm unsure?
Count missed calls for one real week (include after-hours). If you must guess the rest: 30% booking intent and 30% conversion are deliberately modest for hospitality; adjust to your reality.
Can I cite this calculator?
Yes — link to this page freely. The formula is stated openly so readers can check the arithmetic themselves.
